“The Bayou Boys” war ein Pseudonym für diverse Produktionen. Der Sänger Eddie Jefferson verwendete es beispielsweise im September 1952 für die Produktion der vier Titel “Dinah“, “Bambalaya“, September-Song“ und “Sweetheart“, die er mit Lloyd Smith (besser bekannt als Lloyd Fatman Smith: (links klicken))
einspielte, woraus im November 1952 eine Single entstand.
Bei den 1951 beim Hauptlabel CHESS veröffentlichten Schellacks als J. B. And His Bayou Boys, wurde das Pseudonym von J. B. Lenoir verwendet.
