Über den Pianisten, Dancebandleader und fallweisen Klavierbegleiter bei den Three Suns, blieben vorerst auch bei mir seine persönlichen Daten, mit Ausnahme seines Namens Larry Green, verborgen. Bei der Erstellung einer 45 RPM-Single-Disco für den aus vermutlich New England stammenden Musiker hatte ich allerdings kaum Probleme.

Dieser Larry Greene der Einzige, mit einem “e“ am Ende, wurde in Sioux City, Iowa, geboren und war ein Pianist und Songwriter, der den größten Erfolg mit dem Komponieren von Jingles für Werbezwecke hatte, zu denen seine Gattin Toni Greene die Texte schrieb. Das ging schon bald so weit, dass die Leute sich die Werbung im Radio in erster Linie anhörten, weil sie die Jingles hören wollten.
