Kurz-Bio:
Der Pianist, Komponist und Bandleader Jack Fina wurde am 13. August 1913 in Passaic, New Jersey, geboren und verstarb am 14. Mai 1970, erst 56-jährig, in Sherman Oaks, California, an einer Herz-Attacke. Seine musikalische Karriere begann beim Orchester Freddy Martin, wo er als Pianist tätig war und klassischen Themen als Arrangeur ein neues Gewand gab. "Der Hummelflug" von Nikolai Andrejewitsch Rimski-Korsakow als "Bumble Boogie" ist wohl das weltweit bekannteste Musikstück dieses Genres. 1946 gründete Jack Fina sein eigenes Orchester.
