Frank Luther, der Country- und Kinderliedersänger, Pianist, Radiomoderator und vieles andere mehr, wurde am 4. August 1899 auf einer Farm in der Nähe von Lakin, Kansas, als Francis Luther Crow geboren und verstarb am 16. November 1980 in New York City. Im Jahre 1920 heiratete er die Musikerin Zora Layman und zog mit ihr nach New York.
