Die aus New Orleans stammende Sängerin und spätere Politikerin
(in San Francisco) CAROL BRENT nahm für Arcadia eine Single auf.
Auf dem Gold Coast-Label erschien 1959 eine LP 'Carol Brent At The Hungry I'.
Carol Brent was born in New Orleans and grew up listening to Frank Sinatra on the radio. She began performing in the Vieux Carre (i.e. the French Quarter) at the Famous Door and later at the Showboat. She moved to Los Angeles, where she temporarily retired from singing. She resumed singing at Ye Little Club, in Beverly Hills. She was "discovered" by Gold Coast Record owner, Jack Spinosa, who heard her singing on a beer commercial. Somewhere along the way, she met and married her husband-manager Lloyd Downton.
