Kurze Trio-Story:
Die drei waschechten Texaner Fred Martin, Tenor und Akkordeon, Bert Dodson, Bariton und Kontrabass, sowie Jerry Scoggins, Gitarre, bildeten bereits seit Mitte der Dreißigerjahre ein Gesangs- und Instrumentaltrio, welches sich spätestens 1941 auf Tonträgern The Cass County Boys nannte.
