NORMA and LINDA - NORMA LEE

Kurz-Bio:
Etwa ab 1953, also noch bevor Norma Palm und Linda Robinson 1958 als Norma and Linda ihre erste Platte einspielten, waren sie bereits sehr erfolgreich in Tacoma, Washington, und Südkalifornien als Harmony Sweethearts unterwegs. Beide beherrschten neben dem Gesang auch das Gitarrenspiel und Norma war eine Virtuosin auf dem Akkordeon, dass bei den Auftritten auch ihr vorherrschendes Instrument war. Auf KTVW in Tacoma hatten sie Mitte der Fünfziger auch eine eigene Fernsehshow "Harmony Sweetheart Time”. 1958 waren sie auch Gäste bei der Lawrence Welk Show und traten auch mit den Größen der damaligen Show-Szene regelmäßig auf. Als Linda Robinson ihren Beruf im Musik-Business aufgab, machte Norma Palm, die 1940 in Port Angeles, Washington, als Norma Lee geboren wurde, solo mit ihrem zivilen Namen weiter.
