Kurz-Bio:
Der Country-Sänger und Allround-Musiker Shorty Long wurde am 31. Oktober 1923 in Reading, Pennsylvania, als Emidio Vagnoni geboren und ist am 25. Oktober 1991 kurz vor Vollendung seines 68. Lebensjahres im St. Joseph Hospital in Reading, seiner schweren Krankheit erlegen.

Ab Jänner 1962 veröffentlichte der der schwarze Soul-Star Frederick Earl Long (links klicken) ebenfalls mit dem Pseudonym Shorty Long seine ersten Singles bei TRI-PHI.

....sich die Experten noch immer nicht einig.

Ich kann es leider nicht definitiv behaupten bin aber überzeugt, dass sich der folgende Shorty Long den Zusatz „Kentucky“ nur zugelegt hat, damit man ihn nicht mit jenem aus Pennsylvanien verwechselt.
