Der Sänger Gary Crosby wurde am 15. Juni 1933 als ältester Sohn des Sängers und Entertainers Bing Crosby in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, als Gary Evan Crosby geboren und verstarb am 24. August 1995 in Burbank, Kalifornien, erst 62-jährig an Lungenkrebs.
Eigentlich war Gary Crosby Schauspieler, er betätigte sich aber nebenbei auch als Jazz-Sänger mit eigener Band und da streifte er auch den Pop-Bereich, wodurch er auch für uns Rocknroller wichtig wurde.
