Kurz-Bio:
Der Percussionist, Arrangeur und Songwriter Bobby Christian wurde am 20. Oktober 1911 in Chicago, Illinois, als Sylvester Christian geboren und verstarb am 31. Dezember 1991 ebenda.
Eigentlich gehört er mehr zur Jazz-Szene in in den Sechzigern erhielt er den Ehrentitel "Mr. Percussion", aber durch die SALEM-Single "Enough Man", eine rassiger Rocknroll, kam er auch in unseren musikalischen Bereich.
Äußerst interessant ist die A-Seite dieser Single vom Text her. Was für einen Text Lee Armentrout (siehe Notenblatt) geschrieben hat ist schwer festzustellen, denn bei der gesamten Nummer "Cricket On Parade" hört man kein einziges Wort.
