Hallo,

meine Aussage in # 13 möchte ich hiermit untermauern:

Ende 1953 begann Bill Quinn, den Mastern, die er bei Gold Star erstellte, einen fortlaufenden numerischen Code zuzuweisen. Die Nummerierungs-Sequenz begann bei # 1003 und dauerte bis zu Quinns Pensionierung im Jahr 1963 an. Die höchste bekannte Gold Star-Masternummer ist 1699 und stammt aus einer Sitzung im Juni 1963. Ab 1964 begann die Mastering-Nummerierung des Studios unter neuer Leitung erneut bei 1000.

Das Plattenlabel und die entsprechende Katalognummer für jeden Eintrag (sofern bekannt) sind angegeben. (Hinweis: Die Mastering-Nummern von Gold Star können mit den Katalognummern der ausstellenden Plattenfirmen identisch sein oder nicht.)
