Die Carnation aus Louisville, Kentucky, waren Harry Martin, Leadgitarre, Ray Allen, Bassgitarre, Vernon Velty (auch Pat Curley), Rhythmusgitarre, Duke Marsh (auch Eddie Humphries), Saxophon, und Ronnie Lloyd, ab etwa 1961 Diane Patton, Schlagzeug. Die genauen Zeiten der Besetzungsänderungen sind mir nicht bekannt, jedenfalls waren Ray Allen und Harry Martin immer dabei.
