Der Jazz-Klarinettist Bobby Gordon wurde am 29. Juni 1941 In Hartford, Connecticut, geboren und verstarb am 31. Dezember 2013 in einem Pflegeheim in San Diego, Kalifornien, erst 72-jährig, infolge seines schlechten Gesundheitszustandes. Er lebte seit den Siebzigerjahren in San Diego.
