Rockabilly singer and pianist Ray Awalt was accompanied by The Bi-Stone Playboys on his recordings for The GM Record Co. in Gladewater, Texas. The group included: Butterball Beard (guitar), Charles Nancy and Jimmy Philips (bass), Steve Henning, Rusty Looke (drums), Donald Frank (sax) and Ray Awalt on the piano. On this recording dredits and artists as ''Ray Awalt -- Ray & Red and The Bi-Stones.'' Awalt ended his music career in the early 1960s, having lost its legs in a car accident. Ray and his group released at least six singles for the Texas label in 1956 & '57.
